About Impel Moving
Impel Moving is a locally owned and operated moving company serving San Francisco, the Peninsula, the North Bay, and Silicon Valley. We are licensed and insured (Cal-T / MTR 0192323, US DOT 3549568) and our crews are trained employees, not gig workers picked up for the day. We plan each move, protect furniture and homes, and work as a team from the first call to the final box.
Who we are looking for
Reliability first: people who show up on time, come prepared, think safety first, and treat a client's home and belongings with respect. The work is physical, and just as much about talking clearly to a stressed customer at 7am. We hire movers and packers, CDL and non-CDL drivers, crew leads and move coordinators, and office and client-support roles.

Do I need moving experience?+
It helps, but it is not required. We train on packing, protection, and handling methods. Reliability and attitude matter more than a résumé.
Is a driver's license required?+
Not for mover and packer roles. Driving roles require a valid license and a clean record; CDL holders should say so when applying.
What are the hours like?+
Move days start early and vary in length. Weekend and after-hours work comes up, particularly on commercial relocations.
